CityPuzzle Series (MIX-MEDIA)

In the citypuzzle series, Chan presenting his views towards the city in a creative format. Each works are designed as a puzzle showing the form of high-rise buildings in Hong Kong. Chan believes that Hong Kong buildings has a subtle connection with puzzles. In Hong Kong, the houses around you seem stereotyped, just like waking inside a puzzle box. Different building structures in the city of Hong Kong, as uneven part of the puzzle, different shapes but chaos in the orderly. In the middle of each works, there is a empty space representing the endless sky.

陳氏以創新形式表現對城市的體悟。每一件作品都以拼圖形式呈現香港高樓大廈景像。陳氏認為，拼圖與香港高樓大廈相互間有著微妙的聯繫。走在香港的鬧市中，身旁高聳的大廈似是拼圖方塊一般，顯得千篇一律、一式一樣。大樓高高低低的錯落在香港城市中，正如同拼圖的凹凸部份，形狀不同但亂中有序。作品中央天空的位置均以縷空方式表現，代表著無盡的空間延伸。
